Please join UPSEU Representatives who will be there to speak with you regarding any questions or concerns you may have about your right to switch unions or about UPSEU. We will also provide you with updates on the progress of the hearings at the State labor Board.

The meeting will be from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. and then again from 3:30 p.m. till 5:30 p.m.

Waterford Police Union hold elections

Waterford CT – The Waterford Police Union held yearly elections this month.  The new WPD Union president for the 2012 year will be Officer Michael Fedor.  Also elected were Officer Richard Morgan for Vice President, Sergeant Steven Bellos for Secretary and Lieutenant Brett Mahoney for Treasurer.

The Executive Board/Negotiating Committee will consist of Officer Matthew Fedor, Officer Nicolas Surdo and Officer Cynthia Munoz.

Chief Union Steward is Officer Gilbert Maffeo and the two shop Stewards are Sergeant Jonathan Pettigrew and Officer Stacy Shea.

The Waterford Police Union along with the Waterford PBA continued their yearly tradition donating to the Waterford Youth Services Adopt a Family Program. Youth Officer Nicole VanOverloop spent several days shopping on her personal time for gifts for the needy family with four children from Waterford. The donation for the family was around $600. Both the Waterford Police Union and the Waterford PBA will continue to support the residents and the community through donations and volunteering their time to make the Town of Waterford a better place.
