Waterford Veterans of Foreign Wars, New Hours and Donations

As most of you know, I am a member of Waterford VFW and am currently trying to volunteer a little more of my time to help improve the club and increase both membership and guest use of the club.  we have come a long way in the past two years and if you haven’t been there recently, I encourage you to drop in, check out the improvements, as our guest or inquire about becoming a member.

Anyway, we have expanded our operating hours, now open 4-11pm, Monday-Saturday.  Since we are open on Monday nights now, we would like to attract a Monday night football crowd from those sports fans amoung you and also with the baseball playoffs coming up, invite you to come down and watch a game or two with us.  we are looking into offering food (wings, dogs, and burgers etc.) during the Monday night football games and if it goes over, maybe more often.

We are looking for a couple more tv’s to make offer more patrons a chance to see the games.  if we could get a couple more 32inch or larger donated we could add one to the bar side and maybe put one in the banquet hall to open up a no smoking viewing section. 

If you are upgrading your set and have one to donate in good condition (flat screens would be nice but anything in good to great condition would be accepted).
