Union Event: Atty Elliot Spector to speak at WPD May 28th 6-8pm

by Waterford Police PBA on April 30th, 2009

Attorney Elliot SpectorThe Union has hired Atty Elliot Spector to come and speak to the membership on May 28th from 6-8pm.  I am trying to reserve the training room for the event.

The topic will be police shootings, criminal/civil law suits and generally what the officer can expect after being involved in a deadly use of force situation.  There will also be a question and answer session at the end.  Its a great opportunity for you to ask the “expert” any nagging questions you always wanted answered.

Union Members and their spouse are invited.  I’d like to get a general head count of who will be able to attend, so let one of the union officers know if you are coming.  If you can’t come, write your question down and I’ll have Atty Spector answer it for the presentation.

I’ll keep everyone updated on the location.
