Waterford Police Department – Celtics star Glen Davis talks at WHS.

On Monday, September 14, 2009, Glen “Big Baby” Davis of the Boston Celtics came to the Waterford High School for a presentation to the freshman and sophomore classes. The presentation, sponsored by W.A.D.E. (the Waterford Alcohol and Drug Education coalition), provided students the opportunity to hear about Davis’ life experiences.

Waterford Police Officers who have instructed in the Waterford schools for many years were invited to the presentation and were able to talk with Davis about his life changing decisions.

In the photo below, Waterford Police Officers Cynthia Munoz, Gil Maffeo, Marc Balestracci and Nicole VanOverloop stand with Glen Davis just prior to the presentation.
