Waterford PBA and Union welcome new Police Commissioner

by Waterford Police PBA on October 19th, 2009

The Waterford PBA and Waterford Police Union Local 1948 wish to welcome newly appointed Board of Police Commissioner Howard Stillman.  Commissioner Stillman is replacing outgoing Commissioner Maurice Blinderman.  Waterford Police Commissioner Maurice “Reece” Blinderman retired on August 2, 2009 after serving the department for 29 years.  Blinderman, who was sworn in on December 3, 1980, did an outstanding job in serving the members of the police department and the Town of Waterford.  We would like to thank Commissioner Blinderman for his service and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.  Commissioner Stillman will fill a term from August 3, 2009 to August 3, 2013.  The PBA and Union look forward to working with Commissioner Stillman who will bring a fresh perspective to the Board of Police Commissioners.
