WPD AIT Call Out: One killed, one injured in Waterford crash

The Day – One killed, one injured in Waterford crash.

Waterford – Members of the Waterford Police Accident Investigation Team were called out for an early morning fatal motor vehicle accident at approximately 12:58 am.  The vehicle was traveling south on Old Norwich Road, crossed into the northbound lane and struck a curb.  The vehicle came to rest against a house at 121 Old Norwich Road, Quaker Hill, CT.  The passenger was killed and the driver sustained injuries.

Lifestar Helicopter was called to the scene and the driver was flown to Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT
