Parolee Identified As “Person Of Interest” In Police Ambush

SEATTLE -

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a “person of interest” in the murders of four Lakewood police officers.

Spokesman Ed Troyer says they’re looking for 37-year-old Maurice Clemmons, a man with an extensive criminal history in both Pierce County and Arkansas.

Clemmons is a black man, from the Parkland area of Pierce County. Clemmons is 5’8″ tall, 235 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, and a mole on his left cheek.

Clemmons should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Authorities say he’s a man with an extensive criminal past – whose 95-year prison sentence was commuted in Arkansas nearly a decade ago…….
