Waterford ACO passing on the leash

Waterford CT – After 2 1/2 years the Waterford/East Lyme Animal Control Officer is passing on the leash.

Waterford Officer Robert Winters, who was assigned to the Waterford/East Lyme Animal Control for the past 2 1/2 years, will be returning to the patrol division today.  The leash was passed to Officer Robert Yuchniuk, who has been with Waterford PD for 22 years as a patrol officer.  Yuchniuk who has been assisting Winters for a past few years on a part time basis, will be taking over full time ACO duties starting on March 14, 2010.

Yuchniuk thanked Winters on his facebook page, “Would like to say a very special thank you to Officer Rob Winters for all the great work he did at the shelter, Good luck back on the Patrol Division, you will be sorely missed over here”
