Waterford PBA Scholarships
Hello,
It is that time of year again, when our best and brightest will be graduating from high school and going on to some form of higher education.
The Waterford PBA has been awarding scholarships to the sons and daughters of our members for over 25 years.
The qualifications are:
1. Child of active or retired officer of the Waterford Police Department.
2. Must be graduating from high school, or GED program.
3. Going on to some form of higher education, college, tech school, beauty school, nursing school, etc.
4. Student must fill out the 2 page application which the student and parent signs.
5. Include a copy of the letter of acceptance from the school the student will be attending.
6. Forward to PBA scholarship committee member, Mark Willard or Todd O’Connell.
Sorry, grandchildren are not covered by this scholarship.
The application will be reviewed and a check made out for the student for $750.
The check can be forwarded to the high school for presentation at their awards ceremony, or issued to the student directly.
