The meeting will be from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. and then again from 3:30 p.m. till 5:30 p.m.

    Waterford CT – The Waterford Police Union held yearly elections this month.  The new WPD Union president for the 2012 year will be Officer Michael Fedor.  Also elected were Officer Richard Morgan for Vice President, Sergeant Steven Bellos for Secretary and Lieutenant Brett Mahoney for Treasurer.

    The Executive Board/Negotiating Committee will consist of Officer Matthew Fedor, Officer Nicolas Surdo and Officer Cynthia Munoz.

    Chief Union Steward is Officer Gilbert Maffeo and the two shop Stewards are Sergeant Jonathan Pettigrew and Officer Stacy Shea.

Youth Officer Nicole VanOverloop spent several days shopping on her personal time for gifts for the needy family with four children from Waterford. The donation for the family was around $600. Both the Waterford Police Union and the Waterford PBA will continue to support the residents and the community through donations and volunteering their time to make the Town of Waterford a better place.     We support and donate to community activities such as youth sports organizations, educational scholarships, youth education programs such as the Waterford Anti-Drinking Education coalition (W.A.D.E), food drives and various community charities.
